When Arthur A. Denny and his Party claimed land on Alki Point on September 28, 1851, they already had a very specific goal in mind: to receive Comic Con Episode IV in the land of the Duwamish tribe. Since then, people of Seattle worked really hard to cultivate a geeky, pop-culture-loving culture that now culminates with a unique screening of our film.

What’s Geekier Than A Space Needle?

There are few American landmarks as geeky as the Space Needle. The tower, built to host the Century 21 Expo (aka the Seattle World’s Fair), is a symbol of Boeing-fueled space engineering accomplishments and marks a moment in the space race where the biggest nerds determined who’s winning.
